I noticed this place was in the works towards the end of last year and was glad to hear they have been operating for the past 8 weeks.
The place looks awesome and comes with the signature warm and friendly Greek service.
As with other Greek street food eateries, there are plenty of choices. You can build your gyro with your choice of meat and sauce, or you can choose meats alone (on a stick, aka “stix” or from the spit, aka “souvla”) and sides (salads, chips). We ordered 2 pork belly stix 2 lamb fillet stix, a serve of lamb souvla, a Mediterranean slaw (coleslaw with olive oil and lemon dressing), and a gluten-free wrap for Alvaro (the menu has GF pita listed as a side, but they are currently looking for a reliable source).
Pork belly stix ($4 each)
Lamb fillet stix ($4 each)
Even though the meats are in the “naked” section of the menu, they come with (gluten-full) pita by default. We enjoyed all the meats, all were tasty and super tender. A bit too salty for our taste (and I’m gonna guess for most people’s taste, since we do love salt) so refrain from salting your food before trying it.
Lamb souvla ($12) + gluten free
pita wrap ($3.50)
The slaw was awesome and I reckon a much better side than traditional Greek salad to balance out the saltiness of the meats.
Mediterranean slaw ($9)
