Review: Bridge St Garage (Sydney CBD)

My lunch buddy Sebastian has suggested this restaurant ages ago. Although online ratings were not that promising, I was willing to give it a go, especially when I saw they had a beef rib on special.

It’s not a surprise that the restaurant theme is cars. If you’re into cars, you might enjoy the decor.

I’m into knives, and they had cool ones available.

On to the food! I had the aforementioned char-grilled BBQ (organic) beef ribs served with broccoli summer salad. The rib was gigantic and super tasty, the sauce had the right amount of heat and seasoning, and the salad, which had roasted almonds and seeds, and a buttermilk (I think) dressing, was great. For the first time in a long while I needed help to finish my meal.

Sebastian ordered the gaucho burger with hot salsa criolla, radicchio, shredded lettuce and chimichurri sauce. He chose the Black Angus patty with provolone as protein, plus an extra fried egg. It sounded great, however he described it as unremarkable.
