Yay for American barbecue joints popping up in Sydney! This one sits conveniently close to where I live, replacing the Peruvian restaurant I had heard so many terrible things about. But I digress. The thing is that these guys are making great use of this tiny space.
We rocked up on one of the hottest days in the past couple of weeks. We were the first customers to queue patiently waiting for six o’clock, time when service starts until they run out of meat.
We ordered a meat plate for 2 to share between 3. It comes with 3x 200g choices of meat plus 2 sides. If you choose the beef short rib, like we did, you’ll get more than 200g due to the bone, and less than 200g of other cut. Our other choices were pork rib and brisket. Our chosen sides were coleslaw and pickles. To round things off, the tray comes with potato chips, BBQ sauce and wet towels. We enjoyed every single bite and I can’t wait to go back to sample more meats. I’ll just wait for a cooler day.
