Book giveaway

Xmas is coming! I have four food-related books that I bought brand new but realised won’t need them. So what better idea to give them to some of the brave people who read my silly posts? Here’s the deal: just write a comment in this post saying which book or books would you like to have from the list. Unlike Santa I can’t guarantee you’ll get what you asked for, but I’ll do my best. Just make sure to include your email address (and yes, if you’re the only commenter you’ll end up with the full package).

American journalist Michael Pollan is one of my favourite food writers. This book would be a great present for helping your kids (or young relatives) become more aware of what they eat.

    food rules for me – im always reading about food health and diet and exercise and everything in between i struggle to find a balance im always under eating or over eating i am pretty desperate to find a common ground with food/health/exercise at the moment its wasting alot of my time..

  2. How cool Gaby! Um I’d like either the Omnivore’s dilemma (to perhaps use with the kids at school) or food rules! Can’t get enough of food books……

  3. I love bread! And I just bought a 15kg bag of bread flour thinking of making it my self! It would really help to have an amazing book called “the Bread Bible” to kick start, instead of using internet recipes… Hope to have this for Christmas!

  5. I would be happy with either “FOOD RULES” or “the bread bible” for two different reasons. I am guilty of not eating the conventional way as I tend to eat things separately rather than mix things up and I pften chew 30+ times before I swallow :) so it would be great to have some guide as to what works and is recommended by “normal” people and I see bread as a must for every meal and I would love to know how to bake and get the right mix of yeast, flour, water, etc etc etc. The added bonus is 600+ beautiful photographs!… Seasons Greetings and Happy Holidays :)
