On Wednesday we also arrived a bit late to the centre but early enough to attend the morning session. Lunch was DIY tacos, with the components prepared by Angela. Because there were not too many beans and we had three vegetarians, us carnivores ate beef (which had a nice cumin punch) only.
Ground beef, taco shells, tortillas, tomatoes, cucumbers, sour cream, cheese, lettuce, capsicum, salsa, more beef
That night I went home early and skipped having lunch with the guys. They ordered Thai, I had some wheat berries, milk, fruit and nuts instead, trying to get back on track with my nutrition. That day I didn’t have any drinks, even when it was pretty hot and there were Coronas in the fridge.
On Thursday we got there for the first session, too. Lunch was again DIY-style, with the components prepared by Gaby and Phil.
Bread, butter, tortillas, tomatoes, carrots, lettuce, …
Grapes, shortbread, nougat, carrots, more grapes, quince paste, cheeses, crackers, mushrooms, lettuce, roasted chicken, guacamole, fennel
Cheese, ham, grapes, shortbread, nougat, fennel, …
And once again I decided to skip dinner with the guys and head off to my cave. I heard they had leftovers for dinner, I decided to bake a flax seed bread (only milled flax seeds, baking powder, eggs and coconut oil) and ate one slice with Peruvian-style olives I bought at the Flemington Market and one slice with homemade peanut butter. I had an apple and some nuts, too. And no booze at all.
